HKEX published its Consultation Conclusions on Climate Disclosure Requirements on 19 April 2024. These conclusions outline the enhancements to climate-related disclosures under the company's ESG framework.

Highlights of the Conclusion are summarised below:

• New Climate Requirements align more closely with IFRS S2

• Phased Approach to report on New Climate Requirements in the issuer’s ESG Report to be effective from 2025 (details please refer to the below table)

• Exchange publishes Implementation Guidance (with references to IFRS S1) to assist issuers’ compliance with the New Climate Requirements
